Does the Guest use “Scaled Mode”? – => No, but if I use it, when putting VirtualBox in fullscreen the guest is actually fullscreen too but just with a zoomed window, the resolution remains the same. On the Guest Window, did you walk through the “View” items? => Yes, but nothing helps, already looked at it, and especially, what can I see is the option that I want to work is also disabled ("Auto-resize Guest Display"). Does change the Guest Window to full screen? => Yes, but I'm in fullscreen with a small window of 640x480 resolution in the middle of my screen. 
Once all that has been done, simply resizing the Window where the Guest is running with the Mouse, should function as expected and, the Window Size should remain as set between reboots.
Have walked through the “ Display Settings”? – => Yes, but there is nothing I change that has an effect on my issue. 
Have you setup the “ Hardware-Accelerated Graphics”? – => I tried this without success, indeed, with or without I still have only 640x480 resolution available.Have you enabled “ Seamless Windows”? – => No, but I can't since the option is disabled (greyed) in "View" menu.Respect to the openSUSE Guest running on a Windows 10 host:
